| Audio Log is the advanced digital solution to your
logging problems. In the place of your VCR and rack of tapes, sits a single computer,
quietly logging all output. Audio Log frees you from the drudgery of tape changes and
filing. All audio is retained by Audio Log at broadcast quality. 42 Day
capacity
An Audio Log in your studio will record, at least, the full 42 days
worth of output required. Increasing the hard disc drive's capacity allows for increased
days to be held.
Full
Stereo Broadcast Quality
All 42 days recorded are held in CD quality audio files. All logged
audio can be broadcast again.
MPEG
Compression
The use of MPEG compression techniques gives a "clean",
broadcast quality, audio file - no background hiss.
Event
Logging (Hardware and Software)
Audio Log records a range of hardware and software events. Opening
and closing faders, or the playing of particular audio, for instance, can be clearly
flagged. Once recorded, these markers can be used to skip backwards and forwards through
the recorded audio.
Automatic
Looping
The Audio Log software will automatically begin to re-use the first
day's storage on reaching the end of the system's capacity. Whether 50 days, or 500, you
needn't worry, Audio Log will automatically loop.
Immediate
Access to Recorded Audio
Once recorded, audio can be replayed immediately!
Instant
Location of Precise Times
Audio Log's navigation facilities allow you to move directly to any
point in time and listen to the recorded output instantly. No waiting for it to be
located. Remember, all recorded days are held in CD quality, and you can listen whenever
you wish.
Retained
Days
Audio Log contains a feature that allows you to identify and to flag
days for retention. Audio Log will continue to operate as expected, but will not wipe the
audio you've flagged.
Low
Cost IDE Hardware
Audio Log offers a low-cost, highly technical solution. No expensive
hardware devices are required. Contact us to discuss your individual requirements.
Plug
and Play
Audio Log will operate in any studio set-up. It will plug and play,
without interacting in any way with existing systems.
Ease
of Use
Audio Log continues the tradition established by our Sound Box
system. The interface is clear, intuitive and functional. You'll be surprised at the
simplicity and ease of use that has been engineered into Audio Log.
Export
facility
Recorded audio files can be exported from Audio Log in either linear
or MP3 format.
Multiple
Streams
Audio Log will support the simultaneous recording of multiple
streams.
Remote
Module (available from Jan 2001)
A remote, dial-in facility is in production which will allow audio
recorded by Audio Log to be reviewed remotely. Extracts can also be exported over this
link.
